Nucleus Network would like to make the announcement that the organisation recently won the 2008 Governor of Victoria Export award in the category of Emerging Exporter Award and a second major award the Victorian Export Award for Innovation Excellence. This is an outstanding result for everyone at Nucleus Network as everyone has had a part to play in this achievement. Nucleus Network is now an Australian Export Awards Finalist.

Early phase clinical trials are a vital step in the process of bringing new and safe medicines to the global community. Every medicine that is sold over the counter or by prescription has undergone stringent clinical testing to ensure it is safe and effective, and it is this process that is undertaken at Nucleus Network. As a leading provider of early phase clinical trials Nucleus Network has participated in the study of over 60 chemical entities, biologics or peptide compounds in clinical trials.

The Victorian-based company operates two state-of-the-art facilities, a dedicated 30-bed clinical trial unit located within the Alfred Medical Research Education Precinct and a new $2.5 million, 16-bed clinical research centre - a collaboration between Nucleus Network and the Austin Hospital.

Nucleus Network works with major international and Australian pharma and biotech companies to develop medicines for a wide range of therapeutic indications such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, HIV and respiratory disease.
